TOO BAD MORMON HEAVEN'S FULL

Gordon Hinckley, President and Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints died at age 97.

Hinckley ushered in unheralded worldwide growth to the Mormon church, constructing on average 400 buildings per year in his tenure and increasing the congregation by 40% in just 12 years. How’d he do it? He came from a PR background.

The old story of the golden salamander telling Joseph Smith he should flee his debtors and marry a bunch of young chicks changed to Jesus visited America when he was resurrected. Brilliant!

Hinckley had his work cut out for him, though. Can you imagine even introducing yourself as Gordon B. Hinckley President and Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? I’m pretty sure it’s not even grammatically correct.

By the way, the job’s a two-fer, President and Prophet. You can’t be just the President; you have to be a Prophet too, which I’m pretty sure you can just put on your resume.
